There was a brief flash of the 'Old' Poland earlier. A Poland I remember from my teenage years. An old woman climbed onto the tram, clearly not a morning person. She was carrying sacks of dead looking plants and looking utterly miserable.
Possibly understandably since Costa's Almond Waffle Latte Frostini probably cost more than she will make in a week selling deceased roses to commuters. Costa is the Whitbread owned British chain of over priced Starbucks clones, clearly breaking out into new markets. I'm not a fan, I hate the soulless Americanised sweetened foam beverage places, to me they are the antithesis of what a coffee shop should be. You should be able to bust out the laptop and relax for an hour. Do that in a Starbucks and there will be a minimum wage slave nagging you to spend a ridiculous amount of cash on a substandard muffin, fail to bite and you'll find a line of wheely bins have mysteriously become your companion.
Oh but the Almond Waffle Latte Frostini is good though!
