Last week’s laundry was relatively straight forward if exhausting.
That was last week. I had a bucket. Here, I have a leaky sink, a rope with suction cups that won’t suction and a towel holder that I’ve broken.
I’ve lost a suction cup, it flew off and down my balcony, hitting a Bajaji driver on the head far below.
I miss being able to just sling my clothes in a noisy machine and wander off for two hours.
Why doesn’t any country outside of Europe, Japan and Australia have proper laundrettes?! Ok, naturally 5 Star places even here have the ‘hotel laundry’ but $10 a sock which will be beaten to death in a cholera infested river seems a bit extreme.
A laundrette here could be a real entertainment venue.
You’ve had a hard day with the goats, just unwind by nipping along and watching a FERRANGI!!!!’s boxer shorts in spin mode.
I should be an Ethiopian entrepreneur.
